Test Holes

The efficiency of any irrigation system depends on the quality of the well. In Western Kentucky, Tennessee, and Southern Illinois this can be a problem because the water is deeper in these areas. To be effective in installing these deeper wells, Mid-Valley Irrigation has invested in a test well rig for deeper wells. The test well is invaluable in telling the driller where the screen should be placed, how deep the water is, and what screen and gravel pack should be used. A test well is relatively inexpensive and can give us a lot of information about water on your farm.
